Ingredients
•1 can (14.75 oz) salmon, drained and flaked
•1/4 cup finely chopped onion
•1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper (optional)
•1 large egg, beaten
•1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crushed saltine crackers
•1/4 cup milk
•1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
•1/2 tsp garlic powder
•1/4 tsp black pepper
•1/4 tsp salt (optional)
•2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
1.Prepare the Mixture:
•In a large bowl, combine the flaked salmon, chopped onion, and bell pepper (if using).
•Add the beaten egg, breadcrumbs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
2.Form the Patties:
•Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
3.Cook the Patties:
•Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
•Add the patties and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
4.Serve:
•Remove the patties from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
•Serve warm with tartar sauce, lemon wedges, or your favorite sides.
