Description

A heavenly combination of cinnamon-sugar churros and creamy cheesecake baked into a dessert bar that’s perfect for sharing or indulging on your own.

Ingredients

•2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough

•2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened

•1 cup granulated sugar

•1 tsp vanilla extract

•1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

•1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

•1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

1.Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2.Prepare the Dough:

Roll out one can of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the baking dish. Pinch the seams together to form a single layer.

3.Make the Cheesecake Filling:

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

4.Assemble the Layers:

Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the crescent roll layer. Roll out the second can of dough and place it on top of the filling, pinching seams as needed.

5.Add the Topping:

In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup granulated sugar with the cinnamon. Brush the melted butter over the top layer of dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the top.

6.Bake:

Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.

7.Cool and Serve:

Allow the churro cheesecake to cool completely before slicing into bars. Enjoy!
