Description
This copycat Chipotle steak recipe is bold, smoky, and juicy! Marinated in chipotle peppers, garlic, and spices, it’s perfect for tacos, burritos, or bowls.
Ingredients
•1 lb flank steak
•2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
•1 tbsp adobo sauce
•3 cloves garlic, minced
•1 tbsp olive oil
•1 tbsp lime juice
•1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
•1 tsp cumin
•1 tsp smoked paprika
•1 tsp dried oregano
•1/2 tsp salt
•1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1.Blend all marinade ingredients until smooth.
2.Marinate steak for at least 1 hour.
3.Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
4.Cook steak for 4-5 minutes per side.
5.Rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.
6.Serve and enjoy!
Notes
•For a milder flavor, use only 1 chipotle pepper.
•Letting the steak marinate overnight enhances the flavor.
•Works great with chicken or tofu as well!
